Greenhouse Field Trip

Wednesday's trip to the Newton Cemetery greenhouses.  Thanks to greenhouse managers Pam and Julian.  Also thanks to Mary Ann and Tim for arranging the tour.

2/13/13 Meeting

The last meeting was a lot of fun.  We learned about water properties - adhesion, cohesion, surface tension and surfactants.

Another Germination

Caty's grass is sprouting!

Grass Update

Jen's pre-germinated seed is doing well.  The group planted some large containers for experiments later on.  They are also growing well - you can see the root development.  A video of Jen cutting her grass for the first time.
